Halloween
Halloween
is the one of the oldest holidays still celebrated today. It’s one of the most
popular holidays, second only to Christmas.
Some people
view Halloween as a time for fun, putting on costumes, trick-or-treating, and
having theme parties. Others view it as a time of superstitions, ghosts,
goblins and evil spirits that should be avoided at all costs.
This school
year 2016/2017 I really enjoyed Halloween on the 31st October at
Paulo da Gama School. We learned all about it at the English and Art Lessons.
Our teacher of English showed all the students pictures, songs and rhymes about
Halloween. We had candies and we also did activities. It was funny!
In the Art
Lesson we did pumpkins in 3D and 2D, we did witches, bats and spiders. It was
fantastic!
Then we had
a Halloween Party on the 2nd of November, it was great and everyone
loved it. The 9th grade really did a good job!
Everyone
loved Halloween this year at our School!
